The short version: this app holds your own money, health and personal notes. It lives on a server you (or the account holder) control, not on a shared cloud. Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with advertisers. The only things that leave the server are: your chat messages, sent to an AI provider to generate a reply, and anything you explicitly ask the assistant to send on your behalf (an email, a text) — and that only goes out after you approve it.
I'm On It is a personal life-and-money assistant. It shows a private dashboard — bills and money deadlines, to-dos, today's diary, drafts waiting for your approval, calendar, projects, cases, contacts and a chat with an AI assistant — and lets you act on it.
Depending on what you use the app for, this can include: bank balances and bill figures you enter or connect, to-do items, calendar entries, draft messages, notes on ongoing personal matters ("cases"), contacts, health notes such as appointments or check-up dates, and the text of conversations you have with the chat assistant.
All of this is stored on a private server that belongs to the account holder — not a shared multi-tenant database, and not Apple's servers. The app reaches it over an encrypted connection, behind a private login code that only the account holder has. Nobody else's data is mixed in with yours.
When you use chat, your message is sent to a third-party AI language model provider — depending on which one is answering, this may be Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI or Google — solely to generate a reply. That is the extent of it: the provider processes the message and returns a response under their standard business API terms. We do not send them your login details, and we do not use these providers for anything beyond answering what you asked.
If you ask the assistant to take an action that leaves the app — for example, sending an email or a message — it goes exactly where you asked it to go, and only after you have seen the exact text and approved it. Nothing is sent on your behalf silently.
If you turn on notifications, the app registers a device token with Apple's Push Notification service so we can deliver alerts (for example, a bills deadline coming up). The notification text passes through Apple's service to reach your phone; we do not use a third-party notification relay.
For Apple's review, the app has a separate demo mode with a fixed login code. Demo mode shows entirely invented sample data for a fictional person and never has access to any real account holder's information — it is a completely separate data source, not a filtered view of anyone's real data.
To ask for your account data to be deleted, or to ask what is held, use the contact details on the support page. Requests are handled by the developer directly, since this is a single-developer app.
This app is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. Material changes that affect how your data is handled will be announced to account holders directly.
